What is Botox and what does it do?

Botox Cosmetic is an FDA approved drug for moderate to severe frown lines and crows feet. It smooth’s out and prevents wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing the muscles.

What is Dermal filler and what is it used for?

There are several types of Dermal fillers and most are made up of Hyaluronic Acid, which is a vital natural substance that is a youth-supporting part of the skin. Dermal Filler is used to smooth out creases and folds and to also restore or give volume. Results can last up to 2 years.

What should I do prior to my appointment?

3 days prior to your appointment stop all Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Fish Oils, and Vitamin E to prevent excess swelling and bruising. You can also purchase Arnica Montana tablets over-the-counter to help prevent swelling and bruising.

Will I bruise?

Bruising is possible with Dermal fillers and not so much with Botox injections. Make sure to book your filler appointments at least 7-10 days out from any special events.

What is Kybella? And how does it work?

Kybella is Deoxycholic Acid, a manmade form of a substance your body makes that helps to absorb fats. Kybella works to destroy the fat cells in the area injected and is FDA approved for chin/neck fat. It is permanent!

How long does Botox last?

Botox is a temporary treatment that can last anywhere from 3-5 months. Working out, antibiotics, excessive facial movement/expression, and stress can make Botox metabolize out of your system quicker.

Do these injections hurt?

Certain areas of the face are more sensitive than others, overall treatments are quick and worth it! Numbing cream is available.
